the materalist were invited to participate in the Fashion District Festival Pop-Up in Westfield Stratford, in partnership with Fashion District. The Pop-Up brought together independent designers and innovative start-ups to showcase the future of sustainable fashion and offer a one-stop store for conscious shoppers.

as well as 13 independent designers from the Fashion District network, including: Khanums, Hundred Showroom, Been London, Emile Vidal Carr and Timna Weber. 

the materialist also hosted a workshop alongside Fashion Revolution and DiscoMake where donations of offcuts were used to customise and upcycle garments.
